Roc Raida

I watched the Grandmaster Roc Raida show the other day and it was awesome.

Hailing from New York, and been in the game for well over 15 years, he is a hip hop legend.

As soon as he jumped on the decks we heard track after track of one of NY's finest' producers, fellow, DJ Premier. The whole vibe was very NY and the crowd was loving it.

After all the Premier tracks he played a few songs of each classic artist such as Busta, ATCQ, De La, Wu-Tang, Beastie Boys and started rewinding back further and further till he hit the good ol' classic break beats. He covered retro, funk, rap, punk and rock from the late 70's to early 1990's.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show as i did with Qbert earlier on in the year.

Props also to the boys scratching and mixing it up back at the den with the VDJ. woo!
